Fitbit not connecting with phone

Since long, I'm unable to connect with Fitbit versa 2 watch with mobile app. Whenever I tried to log in the app, the message pop up on screen, fitbit.com is down for maintenance. I've talked to the call center and the response from the person was disappointing. In any way, I'm unable to connect my Fitbit band with mobile app. Every alternate day, I've to install and uninstall the app from my mobile. But the problem remains the same.
