faulty gas nozzle valve
*SOLVED

This evening I stopped off at a neighborhood CITGO to fill up my tank. While washing the windows, there was no automatic stop on the flow of gas when the tank filled. About $3 worth of gas spilled onto the concrete before I could shut off the flow. When I informed the attendant, he told me I must have put the nozzle in incorrectly. Period. No discussion. No apology. It was my fault. I said you could at least put a sign up for the next unsuspecting customer. He would think about it. When I went back out to the car to get my receipt, I found none. That didn't work, either. I needed to go back inside to get the receipt. To say the least I am disappointed with his response. I understand I am not forced to bring my business back to that establishment, or any other CITGO's. I thought you would want to know about the customer service I experienced. The gas puddle by the pump is a fire hazard. The manager, Nome, refused to return my call. This was at the Tristar CITGO 39090 N. Hwy 418, Wadsworth, Il 60083, [protected]-01 Wadsworth Plaza, Pump #3.
