Had a variable speed hvac installed 5 years ago. Constant issues with freon leaks. Had to have the blower motor replace and now the circuit board. HVAC company that installed said Carrier would replace the unit due to bad product- now says they will not. DO NOT buy a Carrier product. They do not stand behind what they sell. Have been without heat for 2 weeks. Just as disappointed the in the install company for the run around. User's recommendation: Stay away from Carrier.
