Carfax, at nightmare? Two weeks ago, I brought my 911 to Porsche service for an oil change. Surprisingly, the dealer told me that the Carfax report shows a front damage. Because the damage never happened, I contacted Carfax. In several emails they told me that they do not disclose the source and I need to provide repair information, final bill, or other supporting documents otherwise they are unable to delete the damage report. Of cause, I do not have documentation for a damage never happened and I do not know who entered the false information. Finally, I have no chance to get this false entry, which lowers the value of my car, removed. Unbelievable!
