I did a refinance on one of my properties back in the beginning of Feb 2021, as part of the process I had to have a quit claim done on the property. This was signed in front of a notary and made part of the closing packet. For some odd reason Amrock only sent the deed to my county but never recorded the quit claim deed. Why? That is the million dollar question! When I realized this misstep I called Quicken and was transferred to Amrock and was told they had to 'audit' the file (again - mind you it was already 'audited') and this would take another week and to call back at the end of the following week to make sure it was sent to the county. I followed this instruction and called back. Are you surprised to hear that the person I spoke with told me there was no such 'audit' and absolutely nothing was done with my quit claim deed. So here I was starting from square one AGAIN. That person then escalated it to some other recording specialist and copied me on the email. I didn't hear anything back for 24 hours and I followed up the following Monday to see if there was any movement on my request. They said they are waiting to hear back from the 'Legal Department'. HOW HARD IS IT TO FILE MY QUIT CLAIM DEED! THIS IS DONE ELECTRONICALLY WITH THE PUSH OF A BUTTON IN 2021, I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE DONE THEM MYSELF! So here I am still getting the run around wondering if my issue will EVER be resolved or if I will be perpetually swimming around in the black abyss of 'waiting for so and so to review your request'.....I would NEVER use this company again for any reason what so ever! User's recommendation: absolutely NOT!
