Do not buy from EQ3

We bought 4 dining chairs and opted to pick them up at store. In spite of the store-promised notification to pick up, EQ3 didn't at all notify us for the pick-up. Instead, we needed to monitor the availability and at the end it was us who found out the chairs were already sitting in the store for our pick-up. One of the chairs was found, at the time of unpacking at home, defective with a missing leg base cap. So it didn't stand level. We reported problem to the store right away. Instead of advising for an immediate return for exchange, the store people helped us to report the incident to the EQ3 Customer Service and a problem ticket number was issued to us. The EQ3 Customer Service remained radio silent for over 1 week since the problem was reported. We chased for action via email (under copy to the Store people) and no response either. We kept pushing via repeated emails. The Customer Service responded on the 9th day from the problem logging date and they asked for a photo of the defective chair. Then, they disappeared again in another 6 days with no status update at all. We were so frustrated and we eventually visited the store and filed a strong complaints in person. The Store people apologized and issued an exchange voucher for a new chair yet to be delivered in weeks at the time I wrote this comment. Reasons for recommendation against buying from EQ3 are: 1. Unacceptable product quality, poor QC process behind. 2. Ridiculous customer service, even a basic status update or tracking information is not provided, not to mention the manner of the service agent.
