Back in 2008, when the market crashed, my grandparents had this beautiful home they spent their entire lives saving up for. It was custom built, and had all custom furniture. Everything was made for them, and they were comfortable. My parents had some drug issues at the time, so they were constantly dealing with that, but otherwise, they had us (their grandchildren) and their home. We were happy. The only fond childhood memories I have were in that home. My grandparents always paid their mortgage on time and were giving to the community, however, the market crash was inevitable. That was when my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer. My grandparents were still able to pay their mortgage and medical bills, but it seems that wasn't enough, because Kondaur Capital Corporation swooped in and bought the house in full! My grandparents didn't even have a say in it! So, in order to get my grandparents out of the house, they raised the rent more and more until they drained every last penny out of them, then evicted them. It was a terrible, morally wrong thing to do. I wonder how the people working for this company sleep at night. They RUINED our lives. My grandparents still haven't been able to get themselves out of the debt they were forced into because of this awful company, and it's been NINE years. I hope you all get the karma you deserve.
