Didn’t stand on it’s own. Bottom not flexible

I bought it for its stand alone &;;;; not good on all terrain. I have MS &amp;amp;amp; the stand alone was a great plus or even when I wanted to reach for something the cane fell. Could it have not worked due to faulty product. .try another. I took it back to Walgreens & got a store credit.
