Defective parts and Deceptive practices
1
R500 caught on fire in the cargo area fuse box. It is an obvious defect for it only happened when the heated passenger seat was used with the air conditioner in 100 degree weather. Although it is an oxymoron to heat your seat and have the air-conditioner on- in 100 degree weather, it is not prohibited. The car was towed to Park Place Dallas, to be investigated. They kept the car from the end of August to January. They conducted the investigation in October and stated it would be unlikely that the car would have a defective part that would lie dormant. Yes, it would! The heated seats and air-conditioned, in 100 degrees, Texas heat, would be that exception to explain the fact of the unlikely as they put it. Ok, that's what you said, now, we would like to have our car repaired, it's here at an authorized dealership? They stated they do to want to work on our car. REALLY? After you have taken it apart and didn't put it back and was going to fix it before the fake investigation that provided no analysis to why their vehicle would endanger lives. The more I tried to get help and answers as well as repairs, they did not want their own business, or just mine. I feel that they treated me differently because I am black, and that is just keeping it honest. I have recorded calls.
