Charles the head maintenance person simply walked into my room without knocking when there was no maintenance issue. He then asked to see my key card and began rifling through my things until he found it. He then inexplicably asked me questions about if the key worked in an accusing tone as if I were there without paying. He saw the receipts immediately below the key card!! There is no excuse for this and I am told this method of entry is illegal under Texas law. If anyone chooses to stay at the Houston Kuykendahl location, be aware that this could happen to you as well. The rest of the staff is very professional but I feel they are bullied by this Charles character. Again all should be aware of this during check in.
