D0 NOT BUY GOOD SAM

1

Towing, roadside assistance. We are in Odessa TX, our coach went into limp mode. Four miles and hour. We called the Cummins dealer in Odessa and asked if they could come out and clear the codes. They SAID that they could but that they felt it was a waste of time and that they do not do repairs in the field on Motor Homes. That they could not reset and active code. Our MH was giving codes such as poor def quality, shut down engine. We talked to a mechanic that told us how to do a regen, we tried three times and it did not work. Good Sam was willing to pay for the trip out here and nothing more. We are in our second day of waiting for authorization to be towed and so far nothing. Good Sam's tech said he had worked for Cummins for over 35 years and that it could be reset. Who do you believe a mechanic that SAYS he has worked for Cummins all those years or the actual dealer shops mechanic. My bet is on the dealer. I would like to hear from anyone that has had problems with Good Sam. We believe that they sell and insurance policy that they do not stand behind. We have been Good Sam members for 21 years and have never made a claim. Maybe a class action suit should be in their future. 1-97*-235-****
