Customer insurances on their product

I purchase a bed room suite in 2017. When I purchase it I was told that I had to purchase the warranty on the suite and at the end of the 4 year warranty if I had not use any of insurance that I would be getting a refund of the money. But today when I talked to someone in that office I was told that there is no refund only a store credit. I didn't want the warranty, they insisted that I have it, so when I was assured that I would received my money back so I took it out. The thing about it is that they gave me no chose today to get a refund. I don't to be made to make another purchase. Sales people are not telling the customers the right information and I fill like I was being brushed off today. I was told last year from the credit card people the same thing that I would be receiving a refund and not being made to make another purchase for the insurance
