I purchased a "high quality" Crown Gas Boiler about 8 years ago. It would even turn on after initial installation. That was the beginning of our annual break down routine. Like clockwork, every fall season, we fire up our heat only to find out that it work properly. The company (Lowry HVAC), that installed it told us, upon purchasing, that we would have a 10 year parts and labor warranty as long as we do our yearly check up. So we did our yearly check up. Every year (possibly every 2 years), something needed to be replaced. Of course, there was some excuse why it wouldn't be covered. Excuses aside, we have replaced a good portion of the system. This weekend, we replaced 3 more parts of the system. We had great heat until the next morning. We woke up to more trouble codes on this piece of crap boiler and no heat. I am sick of this boiler. I would not recommend this brand to my enemy. Totally not worth the money. User's recommendation: Stay away from Crown Boilers!!!
