We just received notice of toll road charges for two trips in January 2021. We live in New Mexico and have not traveled in California since August 2020. When we looked up our account on the toll roads website we noticed similar charges for two trips in September. When we emailed the toll roads, they responded that all charges from the sticker transponder are deemed valid and final. (The stickers are in our cars in our NM driveway). User's recommendation: Check your toll roads account and your credit card isn't being charged. We canceled our toll roads account to prevent further problems and we are writing via snail mail. We are disputing the January charges on our credit card. Can't go back as far as September.
