Making chicken nuggets, oven was in the center of the countertop well away from any obstruction when pop! I thought the dishwasher motor had blown off, it was a very substantial noise... And then I noticed the huge crack in my corian counter. The air fryer cracked my counter. I was operating it according the to the user manual. Nowhere in the manual does it say to put the unit on a cutting board or trivet. I contacted corian, it will cost me $650 to repair the crack with no guarantee, and I will be able to see the repair. Totally unacceptable.
