Corneal abrasion

1

After much contemplation I decided to try extensions, first thing the tech did was tape down my lower lid/lashes. I could tell it was scratching against my eye so I immediately said something, she did take if off and replace if however apparently by that time I already had an abrasion on my eye. She continued with the lash process, which by this time was painful. I told her that it hurt but she didn't say anything, I should have stopped the process but I really didn't know what to expect. When the process was complete, the eye that was hurt was tearing and weaping a great deal. One eye also had many more extensions than the other, it almost seemed like the tech knew that the first was really spewing water. I didn't sleep that night and the next day I took time off from work and called my eye doctor, it was confirmed that I had a corneal abrasion across the lower right eye, I had to have a contact bandage and antibiotic drops and lost a day of work. Never again will I try lash extensions, I don't think there is enough care. User's recommendation: Be very careful, don't let just anyone do them, get recommendations.
