Ordering Most of my orders involve Dynamex and Amazon. This company hires *** Amazon always states they will deal with it. They don't. In this day and age, what kind of delivery person just drops things on steps in plain view of pedestrians passing by?Items that luckily made it to my steps, were tried for fit BETWEEN my doors and they did in fact fit. one small, padded envelope (yellow) that was to hold 20 tablet stylus pens was actually photographed by Dynamex, ON my steps and below a steel mailbox about 8" X 8" by 18" long. The same type of box a rural person would have for a few daily newspapers to fit in. My package shown BELOW the mailbox, the same one my Canada Post carrier(s) always place my daily mail in. Then one day in January I was home and yet another Dynamex clown drove up my front driveway, walked right by the same mailbox that he could have actually walked right into and slammed his head on (since he was maybe 4-foot 6-inches in height) and I called up Dynamex to appraise them of this incredibly dumb driver. Of course I was told "our drivers are NOT required to knock on doors or ring doorbells and can just leave it where they feel is appropriate." Amazon heard about this and again, "we'll deal with this as it is not acceptable." Pffftttt.... in one ear, out the other. On that occasion and since were home, we went out the front door and started yelling at the guy. He appeared to not give a crap at all. It took a lot of self-control to not take it one step further (also told Amazon about this part too). Canada Post has been guilty of this sort of thing too, even Fedex as well for a neighbor across the street. We watched the guy drop a huge box on the 3rd step of a 5-stepper with a large landing area at the door. The guy barely made it up the steps and when the box started shaking from the wind he steadied it and then left. Didn't even attempt to ring the doorbell to "maybe" alert the homeowner that the package had arrived. This neighbour is 80-years old and barely knows how to use a smartphone or even internet but for over 50 years has known how to answer his door or a doorbell as well. Amazon allows this to occur and even if one gets a refund due to Dynamex's incompetence, THEY should be footing the bill but I don't believe that Amazon makes them pay for their mistakes. I'm certain that I can search the internet and find hundreds of blogs whereby contributors "out" Dynamex but hopefully many people choose to not order from businesses that may solely use Dynamex a.k.a T-Force. I really can't believe they hire this type of delivery person because it really isn't acceptable. I told Amazon that "IF I had the option for every item I was to order, to pick it up down the street and be a little inconvenienced, I'd do that instead and tell Dynamex to shove off. But not surprisingly, even though it's quoted that "there are over 10 pickup points for one option" many items can't be sent to what IS a Canada Post outlet inside a Shopper's Drug Mart. Once again I'll call Dynamex and whoever is the unlucky one to answer the phone is going to get an earful for sure. When you check out the photos of the pens and that envelope I'm sure you'll agree, the mailbox IS right above that small yellow thing. Gotta really wonder if the delivery person just arrived from a desertedisland and has never seen a mailbox. The photo IS the one the delivery person took, talk about dumb to actually prove to one's boss that you're totally incompetent.
