Confused about what I paid for

I paid for my parcel to be tracked from the Uk to the deliver address in the USA. However I was not informed that 3 different companies were going to be involved with this process. Which has caused confusion and has been difficult to resolve, making my experience disappointing to say the least. User's recommendation: Ask loads of questions before using their services.
