Claim rejected

hi,had a parcel collected from yo613gq and delivery address wr127ju on the 3 feb 2021 two wheels and rim when delivered the rim was missing so i proceeded to claim because i had protection put cheeking my account with you today it was rejected because i had not been in contact with you i have cheeked on this claim every day and all it said was waiting for courier ,it always said no further information needed from me so how can it be rejected ? it would be nice to talk to a person but not possible is it ,i feel like i,m being fobed off and will take it further if i dont get a settlement . may thanks
