Bought Ariens mower in 2009. Each year I called in and gave serial number and got free blades as promised. Now when I called in they want the original receipt or the warranty card along with pictures of the machine with a newspaper in picture to prove the date! It is like a hostage/kidnapping picture to show "proof of life". Who keeps receipts that long? They just don't want to send blades any more! Cheated!Av User's recommendation: Avoid buying an Ariens product--they change the rules without warning.
