Change last name on flight before 24 hours

I have been trying to contact customer service FOR THE PAST 16 HOURS. I have been left on hold for over TWO HOURS!! I am very angry because I need to change the last name on a ticket because it was incorrect and TAP airline said I could change it through GOGATE but I HAVE NOT BEEN ATTENDED. HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO FIX ISSUES WITHIN 24hours IF THERE IS NO ANSWER??? User's recommendation: DO NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKES THEY HAVE WAIT TIMES OVER 2 HOURS!!
