Cannot get projector to work

I have to projectors which are the same make and model one with a receipt and one without. They both have the exact same issue. I do not want another one because the third may work for a month or two and end up like the other two. They have no concerns for the first one because it was a gift so i have no bill of sale so im screwed on that one.
