My client had reserved a 20 foot truck for their move 10 days in advance. The day before their move, they received a call saying they would not get a truck. Since this was the end of the month, no other truck rental company had a truck. Since they were not able to get out on the day required per the contract, they had to pay $200 per day until they got out not to mention taking off from work. Uhaul does not think cancelling a truck at the last minute is a big deal. I will not ever use or recommend uhaul for a move. User's recommendation: never.
