Cancelled membership after a freeze

I called CG to cancel a membership that had been on hold until March 13th. I called after my husband notified me that withdrawals were still being taken from his card. Today I told him I did a FREE Public workout with CG and he said may as well, they are still taking money out of the account. I spoke with customer service and now I am pissed because she said give a 40 Fay notice and I was not expecting them to keep pulling money off his card. User's recommendation: Do not sign up for it.
