The C8 Rollout was the worst and most incompetent new car release in history. 2020's should have been rolling off the line last Summer-prior to 2020 like all previous generations-but GM dropped the ball, and the UAW hosed GM - AGAIN- with the longest strike in modern history. Now with COVID19- workers being able to stay home and getting paid- who knows when those assembly line goldbrickers will ever return-many buyers will be lucky to see their 2020 by 2021, which should be illegal. In addition to the late, incompetent and bungled rollout-The Bowling Green factory is putting out a very faulty product, according to early reports by owners- with little real quality control-if any, and many intrinsic problems. I am seriously thinking about cancelling my special order Z51 3LT, that I placed last September-because it seems like GM once again just cannot get their act together, and have lots of bugs to work out-that should have done prior to release. Besides, who wants to get a model year car when the year is almost over??? GM would be better off going to full automation and robotization of the Corvette-the UAW workforce is just pathetic, and the C8 deserves the best production process possible, instead of workers who have no pride in craftsmanship. It is really sad this was the best a company as large and historical as GM could do -with such a magnificent engineering concept as the C8!!!! User's recommendation: Do Not Buy.
