I waited over 7 months to be paid Michigan PUA unemployment and finally I received my payments of $31,200 and Bluebird after posting the direct deposit closed my account without even requesting for me to verify my identity, submit documentation to verify I am entitled to the PUA Michigan unemployment funds I received. I did nothing wrong in using my account and even though I live in Indianapolis Indiana as long as I have notified Michigan while waiting for my back benefits that I moved to another state, I am still entitled to those back benefits. Since my account is closed, when will bluebird be sending me the balance amount in my account of $30,800 or will it be returned back to Michigan unemployment department. User's recommendation: Do not use bluebird American Express debit cards, closing accounts for no reason.
