The third time I tried to use this blender it would not run. It would start and then shut off. We would let it rest and then start it again and then after a minute or so--it would stop. It would run fine when there was nothing in the pitcher--the minute we put something in it--the start and stop thing would happen. User's recommendation: Do not buy a Hamilton Beach blender.
