Being denied service for outstanding bills
1
Hello, I'm repeatedly being denied psychiatric care for having "outstanding bills". I have both Fidelis and Medicaid, and both companies are only denying to cover my bills when the billing department sends them out months late. This is absurd and shameful. It is not my responsibility as the patient to do the job of your billing department, and I'm being denied care for someone else not doing their job. My insurance should cover everything in full. They only deny coverage when my bills are sent out months late. This has happened every time I have tried to make an appointment with my psychiatrist in the last year. My care is put on hold because you want money I do not owe. What do I have insurance for? What is the job of the billing department? I have once again contacted them with my insurance information. I am once again out of medication because of greed and negligence. This is absolutely shameful, and no wonder there are so many homeless psych patients wandering the streets.
