Update by user Nov 26, 2018 www.atwoods.com Original review posted by user Nov 23, 2018 The Atwood's Black Friday Ad clearly shows a mid line Simpson MS60809-S 3000 psi Pressure washer with a Honda engine for $199. Went to the Atwood's store to buy the advertised pressure washer and found that they were actually selling a low end Simpson CM60973-6**** 3000 psi pressure washer with the Simpson motor, not a Honda motor. (Rural King sells this same low end Simpson unit for $179). Besides the different motor the lower model also has less accessories, smaller wheels and a less sturdy frame than the advertised mid line unit. Contacted the store manager (Jim Birr) who said he would find out whether Atwood's could get the correct model Simpson pressure washer for me at the advertised price. Later in the day the manager contacted me via phone and said Atwood's had put out a disclaimer on the ad and they would not get the correct product for me at the advertised price or do anything. Not good business practice for a new store trying to establish itself among the established stores. Atwood's has only been in our city for a short period of time but one thing that I have noticed is that they have a history of bait and switch in their ads. This store is definitely off my list of places to do business with. Deceptive ads, poor quality managers that do not do what they said they would do (he also did this when he worked for Lowe's by the way). At least at Home Depot when they screw up they will make it right by selling you a better product at the same or lower price. Looks like Atwood's just puts out disclaimers to cover their butts when they get caught. They don't care about their customers!!!! A company that cared would make it right and Atwood's is not such a company. A *** company, a *** corporate, a *** store full of *** managers. Shame on the people of Enid, Oklahoma where Atwood's is based. Don't buy from Atwood's!!!
