My wd elements external hard disk is working in my desktop but not in my new laptop.After all the discussion i had in customer chat for past 5 days wasting all my time they came up with the solution of trying my external hard disk in a different laptop.This solution was brought forward by a customer executive named (leenu babu)really pathetic service.Actually these customer executives know basically what we customer know only ie basic common sense for problems they don't know any technical details. I regret buying western digital product.I will never never again buy any wd product for sure in my life. Pathetic customer care User's recommendation: Don't buy western digital(waste products)buy instead Seagate, toshiba etc.
