My 350 Yami has a couple of hundred hours on it since 1990. It is on it's third power head. These motors are virtually useless. I had to add a Mercury kicker to the boat to get me home each time the 350 blew up. They are total junk. If you have one, and can afford it, unbolt it, throw it overboard and at least make a reef out of it. This is the second--largest in class-best outboard ever built--Yamaha that has blown up and left me shore bound. My dealer is fantastic, but they can't fix a motor that is doomed from the factory.
