After a long, long wait, I finally gave up hearing from Awntech. After only five weeks, the awning failed due to no gear lubrication, and we have to roll the $1000+ piece of *** up by hand. I have subsequently contacted a law firm and am in the process of filing a legal solution to this unbelievable mess. I caution anyone doing business with this company, to never expect any response to a warranty issue, and only if you have purchased their junk from a company such as Home Depot, (who has horsepower), can you ever hope to get any results.
