I called the Administrator of Atria Living Center to report an employee who I know personally that stole medication and still takes meds from patients. She puts Tylenol in her pocket and switches their pain meds and other meds with the Tylenol she brought from her home. She works there as a med aide so she has control of switching meds easily. She was released from her last job as a cna, because she stole meds and property from a veteran patient. She has two theft charges on record. She has CPS allowing only supervised visit for her babies. She has a recent child abandonment charge for leaving her infant in the car during a beer run. She is known to sell stolen meds to drug dealer she associates with. All this and administrator comes back with they did a background check for all employees but no current up to date one done on employees now on staff. It’s a buddy buddy system. No drug test for employees because they don’t want to lose half their staff. Don’t leave your loved ones there. Atria Living Center Friendswood, Texas needs their license revoked immediately.
