I am a professional hair stylist trained at vidal sassoon. I have been working in this field for 15+ years and worked at many too salons and traines with other hair schools as well like TG and Bumble.. I am writing this to let people know that Paul Mitchell is a JOKE. I work with "stylists" who have absolutely NO clue what they are doing with cutting or color! It is quite unbelievable.. I kept overhearing them boast about how they are "educators" at the Paul Mitchell School! And as it turns out they were telling the truth. How is this possible??! What a dis-service to these poor kids who want to learn hairdressing! This organization is robbing and decieving their students!! They are being taught terrible habits and no theory of what they are doing. I know what I am talking about.. If you are thinking of attending this school--don't throw away your money!! Spend the money and go to Vidal Sassoon Academy and come out knowing what you are doing. Not that you will know everything, but you will have achieved a higher education in hair and a solid foundation to move forward developing your own unique style.
