First. I made a payment towards my Amazon account thru Synchrony Bank online. The payment was made In full in the amount of $2, 069.42. Unfortunately, I never received a receipt for this payment. So I followed the online instructions to communicate with an online text app. The app had an automated operator on the Synchrony side and was never in sync with my questions that I needed answers to. Also, the app stated that when I made my payment, the date field format was incorrect. I used the calendar to the right of the field to select today's date and it came back with a formar error. The program suggested the date format should be as follows: MMDDYYYY. Unfortunately, when using the calendar icon the date populated the field as follows: MM/DD/YYYY. To exacerbate matters, the app would not allow me to correct it to the appropriate format. GARBAGE PROGRAMMING! Also, I was unable to verify my paid in Full payment, nor received an email or text verifying my payment. There was a link on the page suggesting that by clicking it I would be connected to customer service. Since I was on Synchrony text app, I assumed I would be connected via a phone call to Synchrony. Hard to believe, but I was connected to Amazon customer service that was totally useless and a -10 in customer service rating. Finally, I contacted Synchrony, and since my fiancé wasn't available as she had to attend to household duties after waiting almost an hour on the phone with Amazon. Now Amazon was compliant in speaking to me after providing my fiancée s account info, but Synchrony wouldn't comply. Now if the name of the account was male in gender, they would have no idea who they were speaking to, as I have access to ALL of my fiancée account info. All I wanted to verify was the status of my payment in full in the amount of $2, 069.42.. NOBODY WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE ME WITH THIS INFO. At this point, I am willing to cancel my Amazon account after over 6 years of purchases and a perfect payment history. This way you can concentrate on your Space endeavors instead of your loyal customers. My rating for today's customer service is a -10. I've never in my life, took time after a incompetent call to complain. Only to compliment the service if warranted. Today's calls were DISGUSTING!
