After storing my Latissima for several months, I tried to use it but it would not push water through the system. It was diagnosed by three Nespresso associates as an air-pocket, and several attempts to correct failed. The only solution, pay $125 to send it in to fix. The irritating issue is this is a Common Problem according to Nespresso. Poorly designed, so fixing isn’t easy by the consumer. I have two of these machines, very disappointed in Nespresso’s solution to a poorly designed system. They admitted it was a “Common Problem”, but offered no compensation for the design flaw. Maybe if they offered some coffee samples to be included in the $125 return fee it would lessen the perception of being overcharged.
