A promised given then flagrantly dismissed

I am very feeble in mobility and had an upper GI on 4/1/21. No food or liquids for many hours before test left me somewhat unsteady and in need of a support person. My son took me to the appt, I was taken to the procedure and my son was told specifically that they would call him when I was completed. They made sure they had his phone number. He wanted to wait in the car in the structure only feet away from the Imaging center. I was finished and went into the waiting room expecting that my son would be there but he wasn't. I had no phone or anything with me at all, no way to call him so I thought he would be coming when he was available. I waited 2 hours then finally went to the desk and had someone help me call him. By this time I was in a more weakened state. He was shocked because they told him absolutely they would call him. We were both upset, not a healthy response to my condition AND not a way to treat people. This may seem like a small matter to you but it is an attitude I've met up with at this facility before several times, like it was not patient care you are concerned about which is readily reflected in attitudes, this being a fine example. I'm really sorry I scheduled with your hospital and in the future I won't.
