The starter assembly on this model has failed due to defective starter pawls. I chatted with the company and then talked with a CSR. My trimmer is still under warranty and Troy Bilt sent me a starter pawl replacement kit, supposedly for my trimmer. I provided model and serial number, but received the wrong parts. The pawls on my model are metal, I received plastic pawls that don't fit the machine.DON'T PURCHASEDFON User's recommendation: DON'T PURCHASE TROY BILT PRODUCTS.
