I live out of the U.S. and the person who handles my business affairs and has Power of Attorney has been trying to cancel my policies and get my cash values returned has had no success. This is the last letter she sent certified mail. Please contact her. May 8, 2019 Christopher Hernandez Hernandez Agency American Income Life PO Box 511292 Milwaukee, WI 53203 Re: William J. Zoll account # {{Redacted}} (and all others) Good afternoon, Christopher. I received your letter in the mail today offering to reinstate the policy because the payment lapsed. All accounts were to have been cancelled and any money paid into them returned. I contacted three times to have this done. The second time was on March 28, 2019. I again stated that I wanted all of these cancelled because it is not in the best interest of William Zoll. All you do is take money from him and the payout is not anywhere near what he puts into them. On that date, I was told that I needed to contact them (AIL) back the next day (this was in the early afternoon) because the cancellation department was not open that day. The next day, I called no less than eight times and was put on hold for over ten minutes each time. I called back on Monday, April 1. This time, I called from a different phone. Amazingly, it was answered immediately. Did my caller ID show up on Friday, so it would not be sent to cancellations? I was told by Mr. Zoll that there was an office in La Crosse, WI. I went to that office and the signs were taken down. I went to a neighboring office and was told that they just up and left one day. They gave me phone numbers for the individuals that were working there because packages were being sent to AIL, but no one to collect, so they dropped off at their office. I called both numbers. One was disconnected and the other had message that mailbox was full. I then did research online and found MANY people trying to cancel and getting the runaround. They were trying to cancel for the same reason. I’m not going to go into everything else that is being said. You can look it up yourself. Regardless, Mr. Zoll would like all money sent in to you for these accounts refunded immediately. He already had to put stop payments on these accounts so that you (American Income Life) would no longer be able to take money out of his accounts. We expect the money to be sent back for all accounts within ten business days from today. Thank you. William J. Zoll by Jolene Lien, His Power of Attorney.
