I sent my camera for repair, the estimate (costing £30) was supposed to take 2 weeks but took 3. They stated it was a £100 repair which I authorised and they stated it would take another 3 weeks.. I chased up again after 4 weeks and they stated they were waiting for the parts they had ordered and it would be repaired next week. I chased up again two weeks later and they stated it needed a different repair and that it would be £170 (for a £200 camera). In short they charged me £30 to store my broken camera for 9 weeks and preventing me from getting a new one. They made sure I always chased them, rather than keeping me informed. If I hadn't called them I would probably still be waiting.
