Back on april 8, 2017; I had my 2nd knee surgery. While being out on short term disability for my knee, I was diagnosed with grade 2 spondyolothesis, as well as cervical degenerative disc disease, hand parathesis, and lower lumbar disc degeneration. They started my long term disability in early December being my std benefits were exhausting late january. I submitted all my medical documentation from all my doctors in the beginning of January. February arrives, no decision, end of february no decision. Come March 6 2018, mind you ive had no income aince January 21, im informed ltd benefits were denied, but I was approved for a whopping $256.00 of backpay from 9/17-12/17. And According to my caseworker, because I had not seen a dr for 2018, my claim was denied. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! I turned in all my paperwork in a reasonable time. Plus my benefits from employer were termed January 21. How am I suppose to see a dr with no health insurance? It took them 3 months to say denied on a freaking stupid reason. Now i sit here almost losing my home. My caseworker was very unprofessional. Never answered my calls, took days sometimes weeks, to return my call. And when I would call to speak to someome else, I would always get we are closed today due to inclement weather. This company is a joke!!!
