We brought my cat in after she had not eaten for a few days, vomited, was hiding, couldn't walk, etc. We requested he do blood work, a standard procedure in this case, he didn't. He instead charged me $350 to sedate her and invasively cleaned her ears which disoriented her and made her suffer even greater in her last days. I called him back and asked what could be wrong and what he could do and he literally said "Uuuuum, hmmmmmm, I just...hmmmmm, uuuuuuh" and told me to bring her in after the weekend because he was busy waxing his floors. I took her to Towne Lake Animal Hospital that day because she clearly couldn't make it over the weekend. There they did blood work and found out she was in shock and having kidney failure and she passed away that day. Now, whether whatever Dr. Haden did and gave to her caused the kidney failure or whether that was the problem all along, we'll never know, but I do know he made her worse in her final days putting her into shock. He's not much of a doctor, having declined doing the blood work we requested that would have answered all of our questions. It's a standard procedure that he wasn't even capable of doing and now my sweet kitty is dead. I mailed him a letter a few weeks later explaining what happened and never received so much as call or letter back. How's that for fantastic vet care?
