Alanita Travels used to be a reliable travel agent way back in the 90's. No longer. With increased competition from websites, and with reduced agent fees, they book the worst possible flights at much higher costs compared to airline direct fares. They then make it a policy to make all their bookings non-refundable and non-alterable. Even the airlines are willing to refund 100% per Federal DOT mandate if cancelled within 24 hours, but once booked by Alanita, only the agent has the right to cancel and not pay reimbursements. Never use ALANITA again. Book direct or use a reliable website. Several customers have been complaining about their horrific experiences in the middle of their travel with no customer support.
