Checking in I was told I could NOT smoke in the room and smoking should be done in my own vehicle or off the property. The morning of check out I sat in my truck and smoked. When my Fiancé was done loading the vehicle, I walked to the front desk to check out. The manager “Sarah” walked over to the room we stayed in #115. When she walked back, she rudely accused me and my pregnant fiancé of smoking in the room. She would not let me speak and continued to tell me to stop and to shut the *** up. When I continued to ask, how she came up with the conclusion of me smoking, I was just told that she knows the difference. APPARENTLY NOT. The manager then called the police department and I was removed from the property and searched for weapons because the manager again accused me of having a weapon. This was suppose to be a little getaway from the heat in my hometown. This was the worse experience and caused great stress to my pregnant fiancé. User's recommendation: Do Not Stay at Howard Johnson.
