A 4-day delay during a holiday season

I understand that it was a holiday season. But it cannot be considered a sufficient excuse! I placed my order a week ago. I needed certain items for my home and some presents for my friends, and I found everything on their website. I got an email saying thank you for the order, so I thought everything was OK. There were no other emails or calls from them. But when I opened my account 4 days later I realized that my order had not been sent out yet. And I expected to receive it in a couple of days! When I called them, they informed me that some of the items from my order were not currently available. Why didn’t they tell me about that beforehand? What were they waiting for? Anyway I decided to refuse from those missing items since I didn’t have much time to wait for them. And I asked to change regular shipping into express courier services. As a result I got my package today in the morning. It was such a relief! The party is also today! It starts in 3 hours! Hope everyone will like the presents! They look really cute! Still I cannot give more than 2 stars. They would have let me down if I hadn’t called them myself!
