Inactive Gift Card
Friends gave me a Gift Card "Impression Swirl" worth 40 AU$ for my birthday. Bought TC ALfa, in the store RIMI, paid in cash. I finally decided to use this Gift Card, but before that look at the date until which it should be used, as it turns out, the card is recognized on the website, but is NOT ACTIVE. And then it started: Calling the Great Gift Office, talking to an employee. I asked what I can do, LD employee checked in his system, yes the card is not Active, asked me to present a check or payment order, because they did not have such a transaction in the system on this date and in the next few days, I said that maybe there is a problem in their system between RIMI stores. what was a negative answer (we never make a mistake, we see and know everything exactly). I was not allowed to talk to the Director, he said that I could complain wherever I wanted, the conversation ended with this. The gift card does not state that it is valid by check. Conclusion: If your friends give you this gift card, you ask for a check, and it doesn't matter that your friends bought the Gift Card with other things at the same time (tampons, packages, spirits, and others). The Gift Card itself is not valid if any of the Great Gifts in this chain of gift shops will not be activated by the Gift Card Merchant or otherwise known to them. Witnesses to all this are 5 people who bought a Gift Card, and at least 10 people who saw it when I was given it. And are the Givers really the Thieves?
