Poor service
I would like to share my experience with Ragalu pub. This summer, 07. 07. 17. i had a wedding. The celebrations took place in Koknese, so we chose the "Ragalu pub" as the caterers for the wedding. This was the first experience with this restaurant and also the last one. The tables were set with my tablecloths, dishes, the food was normal, but we were hoping for something better, the service staff was also. The next day we had not ordered breakfast, we said that what would be left from the previous day would be enough, if we had to make it ourselves. The girls had already arrived at 6:00 in the morning to set the buffet for breakfast (others were still partying and had not gone to bed). We did not find anything on the breakfast table from the previous day's warm food, there were salads, snacks,but we did not find chops and meatballs on the table (excluding potatoes, stewed vegetables, stewed cabbage... ), because we know that we had to stay. I saw for myself that there was a full baking pan with chops and meatballs at home. Later, the service staff brought an empty frying pan, because it was in our, as if accidentally taken with us. When the owner came to get money for meals, I said that everything was fine, but in the morning we did not find any meat left the day before. The owner immediately flashed and said, "What you think my girls have taken, it can't be!" I replied that I did not know where I was and I did not blame anyone, but I informed him of this fact. The owner said that going to the girls and asking about the case. After a while, he came back and said yes, the girls had taken the meat while standing in the freezer. (It was also offered if you could bring the frozen meat, at least to the dog. ) The girls had wanted, as best, to take the remaining meat with them and wanted to be laid on other customers' tables! Because of wedding time and several clients these days, time could not cope. I understand if they would have taken more meat home to eat and feed the family, but not to be on the tables of others! The owner returned a small portion of the money I had paid. But it didn't really apologize. And needless to say, the mood spoiled and the guests were left without meat. This is my experience with "Ragalu pub".
