While using cedar stain, it changes color for no reason from a nice reddish cedar color to a shade of yellow. It says on the can to stir well before using, but that seems to make it turn yellow faster User’s recommendation: Don’t stir it before using.
I have used Val spar for years, the last gallon I bought was full of lumps. I brought it back to Lowes, the Manager told me all Val spar paint has lumps in it, and they broke up as you use it. She has no idea what she is talking about, I have never had this problem....
