Do not warn customers about termination of service
2 years ago, with great excitement, Optus started offering citizens to store their data in their eData cloud, up to 10Gb. free of charge. I was glad that there would be a place to store family photos, because the computer was running out of space. I opened an account and uploaded my photos and videos, thinking they would be safe there. When checking in, I probably had to uncheck my agreement somewhere. Does anyone read them subtly? Currently, the bubble is bursting, and eData will be eliminated on May 27 this year. I'm trying to log in to my account, but a message appears stating that the account has been blocked. After several correspondence with Optus, I finally receive a call that if I have not logged in to my account for more than 6 months, it is deleted. These are the provisions that I obviously agreed to. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any warning in my email that my account will be deleted. I also learned by accident that eData will cease to exist at all by e-mail. Isn't that a mass media giant with too much in mind? I realized that I would not recover my photos.
