Defective handle

Purchased the cane in amazon. My friends 80+ year old mom leaned on the handle (she 95 pounds) and it broke. Lucky she did not fall. Can the handle be replaced. Has a screw in the bottom then a bolt on the top once the handle half is removed. This could have been a very serious issue.

The cane separated while I was walking.

Got out of my car unfolded the Cane made sure things were firmly together walked about 5 feet and the cane separated causing me to fall in the parking lot. Breaking my glasses and a bruised face and knee.
